About

Kirstin Louie is a London/NYC-based, multidisciplinary artist with a likeness to a fortune cookie:

Oakland-grown*, golden brown, and full of hyperbolic wisdom.

After studying International Relations, Economics, and Vocal Jazz at the University of Southern California, she worked as an associate at BlackRock. While juggling a demanding finance job, Kirstin continued to pursue performance and theatre.

Since getting her MFA from Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and launching her professional acting career, her credits run the gamut from detective dramas to new plays and musicals. Kirstin enjoys performing in all theatre and media genres and navigates easily between styles.

Offstage, Kirstin can be found leadership coaching, exploring cities through her camera lens, and advocating for eating salads with chopsticks. She also has a passion for community engagement and spends her time volunteering for educational and arts non-profits.

*the first fortune cookie-making machine was invented in Oakland, CA. Both my dad and Google said it, so it must be true.
